ANGUILLA is the Northernmost of the Leeward Islands, and incorporates the island of Sombrero 48km (30 miles) to the North, and several small islets.

The island is relatively flat, and boasts magnificent beaches, some of which stretch for miles, with hidden coves and coral sands. Boats are available to hire.

One historic landmark on the island is 'The Fountain', a huge underground cave with a continuous supply of fresh water.

The climate is hot, with a hurricane season in August and September.
