THE BAHAMAS
consist of an archipelago of 700 low-lying islands and islets, stretching Southeastward from the coast of Florida.
Several of the islands are relatively large, including New Providence Island (which houses the capital, Nassau), Andros, Paradise and Grand Bahama islands.
However, many of the islands are small and uninhabited, but the Bahamas, as a whole, offer clear waters and sandy beaches.
The climate is slightly cooler than other Caribbean Islands, owing to their proximity to the continental, North American, cold air systems
