BARBADOS is the most Easterly island in the Caribbean, and lies to the East of the West Indies.

The West (Caribbean) coast has fine, white, sandy coral beaches, with a brilliant blue/green sea, and is ideal for water sport activities.
The East (Atlantic) coast is very different. This rugged, rocky shoreline has lively surf, and breathtaking views.

The island is mostly flat, with gentle hills to the North. There are numerous attractions, including caves, botanical gardens, and the Barbados Wildlife Reserve.

The climate is sub-tropical, cooled by constant sea breezes. The dry season is from December to June, with short rain showers from July to November.
