BOTSWANA is situated in Central Southern Africa, and consists mainly of the Kalahari Desert.

The capital, Gaborone, lies in the Southwest, close to the South African border, and it is in this area where most of the population live.

There are many National Parks and Game Reserves in Botswana, and the most spectacular and striking ones are those around the Okavango Delta.

A temperate climate, with hot and rainy weather from October to April: - drier and cooler between May and September.
