BURKINA FASO is situated in West Africa. The terrain changes from wooded Savannah in the South, to desert in the North.

The capital, Ouagadougou, lies in the centre of the country, and houses a museum, and the Moro-Naba Palace.

The country boasts three national parks and a game reserve.

The climate is tropical, with a rainy season from June to October.
