GUAM lies in the Pacific Ocean, and is the largest and most Southerly island of the Marianas archipelago. It is an island of mountains, valleys, waterfalls, coral reefs, and fine beaches.

The capital, Agana, lies on the West coast, and retains much of its Spanish culture.

The island has Botanical Gardens and National Parks, including the 'War in the Pacific National Historical Park', which is the location of five World War 2 battle sites. There are also memorial parks dedicated to those who died in this war.

Cocos Island is a beautiful resort just off the South coast of Guam, and is accessible by speedboat.

The climate is tropical, with the rainy season from July to November.
