Our guide now covers over 150 countries worldwide, divided into three main areas. The Travel Directory, Travellers Reports and Special Features.

The Travel Directory is a listings guide to travel related business worldwide; anything from scuba diving and bungy jumping, to travel agents and accommodation. It is already home to over 18,000 businesses. You now have the abiltiy to book your accommodation through Packback; that's anything from hotels and bed and breakfasts, to budget accommodation and Resorts.

Your Travel Reports are instantly published in our guide through your personal members area. You can return to your report archive to view ratings, edit, and now view the amount of hits each of your reports has generated.

Special Features are in-depth articles written by YOU. In return, your feature will be professionally built into the guide by Packback staff. They also appear in our Feature Archive. So get writing and get the recognition you deserve!

We will be developing our guide further with the introduction of resources to make your travels even easier. One such resource has been brought to you by our friends at eBookers. This will allow our European based users to book flights, packages and car hire facilities. Don`t worry if you are not based in Europe, we'll soon have similar resources for you wherever you may be!

Guide Functionality

All articles and features within the guide can be added to your personal planner. A Quick Planner appears alongside the guide when you're checked-in. This shows your most recently added articles. Your full planner is available from within your members area. From the planner you can link directly to any article or feature within the guide.

Booking accommodation in our guide couldn't be easier. Any accommodation that displays our booking logo can be booked via our co-branded site.

Travel Planner
We know how hard it can be gathering information together when planning a trip. So to make life a little easier, we give all our members their own personal Travel Planner. This enables you to bookmark any business, report or feature within our guide, therefore making it a simple process to access this information with a couple of clicks of your mouse.

Reports
From your own reporters area, you can add reports which will then be held in your personal archive. From here you can preview, edit, view hits and any comments made by other travellers.

Your Special Features
You are invited to write in-depth Special Features covering all aspects of your travels around the globe, including any pictures, maps or any other material. Packback will then professionally build these Special Features into the guide. You finally get the recognition you deserve!

Postcards
You can send your friends a Packback postcard, saving yourself valuable stamp money. Choose from a variety of subjects and then add your personal message. You can send in your own pictures for inclusion as a Packback Postcard.
